Spider Hockey Academy
The Spider Academy is a season long game improvement plan that consists of a weekly 90-minute-High Performance Session delivered over 2 half season blocks or 1 full season block from
- August-June (24 Weeks)
- August-November (12 Weeks)
- February – June ( 12 Weeks)
Aim
This programme is designed to develop core skills and game play over an entire season. It is for Boys and Girls from Primary 6 through to Secondary 3.
Locations
The Spider Hockey Academy trains at The High School of Glasgow at Anniesland.
Friday Session
Session 1 is from 4.45pm-6.15pm (Primary 6- S4)
What is included
- 2 x 12 – week programme consisting of a 90-minute session with a ratio of 8 players to 1 Coach or
- 1 x 24 – week programme consisting of a 90- minute session with a ratio of 8 players to 1 Coach
- 40 places available in each Training session.
- Players will train in groups based on Age, Maturation, Ability and Peer groups
- Academy players will receive a Spider Hockey T shirt.
